A closeup look at some of the new S-class features

Here are some better pictures of some of new interior details and features of the 2007 S-Class.

You'll note that on the face of the dashboard there is a row of buttons than can be easily pressed for most of the interior functions rather than using the main controller.

A lot of readers were complaining that people would be forced to only use the controller becuase it was hard to make out the dash buttons in the first interior pics.

We like this implementation better than in the 7-series.

But our favorite feature is the full panoramic roof option on the long wheelbase models.

1) Scroll up and take a good look at the color on the wood shown on the top 2 pictures.

2) Scroll down and take a good look at same thing on bottome 2 pic. shown and you'll see the different color..different part of the wood. Top 2 picture shows a very dark colored wood..while bottom 2 picture shows much lighter in color.

learn from Lexus - they use same wood in order to prevent a goof such as this one! They are years behind Lexus, Acura and Infinti when it comes to Interior ergonomics. No surprise here.
