Spy Shots of new Mercedes taken by yours truly!
These shots were taken in Fountain Valley, Ca. Now judging by what could be seen, it looks like the new and upcoming E-class. Hopefully I'm right, because if I'm not, I'm going to hide myself in a cave. Ladies, gents? Your assessment?

Oh, and be nice. I took these pics w/my phone. Thankfully it had a 3 megapixel camera on it.

When I came back tp take more pictures with friends, the car was gone. It took off within 5 minutes.

No, we saw a bunch of photoshops by someone, they were not real, nor did they come from Mercedes.

As I recall, the title of the article had the word "official" in it, but that was misleading.

looks like the Cadillac CTS

Funny...it doesn't seem to matter that the Mercs and Cadillacs are starting resemble each other more and more. They still look like themselves for some weird reason.

But let's look back...Mercury used to compete with Merc (1970s?)...then Edsel, which didn't come at the right time. Boy-oh-boy had Ford and GM been stupid during the late 90s.

the brown interior color does not look bad.

Just what I was thinking, judging from those side skirts.

The Japanese car companies are looking at these images because it's a shortcut for designing their next cars.

Lol. Didn't Lexus did this for ages? And don't forget those Koreans. Lexus will probably come out with less ugly Lexus E-Klass and Koreans will fellow with cheaper but less uglier Lexus E-Klass.

Well it certainly is not the next E class. It looks considerably worse/less modern than even the current one.

I'm not feeling the profile... looks a little tall and boxy, but that may be because of all the camo...

Not good for a Mercedes. The cars profile together with headlights and tailights shape seems very conservative and boring especially the rear end.
I hope that's just camo and new E class like XF, be more sharp.

as the way it is, I see 90% Honda accord from the rear, and 95% of infiniti M from the front.

name a new gen merc that was worse than it's predecessor in the last 5 years....that's right you can't. Mercedes has done wonders with the S, the C, the CL, the CLS, the SLK, the NEW SL!!!!, and the ML. They're not going to mess up their bread and butter, the E-class is mercedes, you just wait and see, everyone is going to love this thing.

I don't know if people here agrees with me but upcoming E-Klass looks ugly to me, atleast in the pictures by the way. I will check em out when they come out but from look of things, they have lost one of their royal customer when they announced it awhile ago.

WOW it looks just the damn same -- or so close -- to the current E-class. What a downer. I was expecting a transformation of what looks like a brick -- the dated styling of the 90s -- boy does it really look ugly. Nice touch with the 2004 Hyundia Elantra style rear end!

Sorry about not taking interior shots. Besides, the interior dash, console and front seats were covered in a thick, black cloth.

I know I'm going to get some crazy comments after this, but it looks like an Accord. I hope that's not the new E. The current model (used to be my fave) is waaaaaaaaaay too bland. I rarely see a man driving one. It's normally a woman (50ish).

I was going to ask the same thing. Keep in mind it *is* covered. It will likely look a lot better in the right color, and with the tape off, as well.
