Pirelli launches new Cyber tires with electronic monitoring
Tire pressure monitoring systems have become commonplace on all but the most entry-level cars, but Pirelli is set to take the next step in tire telemetry - a self-powered microchip-based system that reports temperature, pressure and load wirelessly to the car’s computer.

The tire, dubbed the Cyber Tire (P-Zero pictured), will debut in 2010.

Very cool, but how much are these tires going to cost over a "normal" tire. (I say normal in quotes because at $300 a pop, most performance tires are not cheap).
