These are some of the latest shots of Jaguars hot new cat , THE XF-R, getting some testing time in the California Desert. Output of Jaguars new R - vehicle is expected to be around 500 horsepower from a 4.2 litre V-8. Is 500 horsepower enough though to sway buyers from its more powerful German competitors?. Looks absolutely gorgeous. It's been confirmed to have 510Bhp, and it still has decent fuel economy aswell, direct injection and some othere techno stuff keep the tree huggers happy:-)

The M5 is now outdated, the XF-R will be getting my attention. I'm looking forward to the next E63 as well.

Jag has less credibility in this space - the XJ-R and S Type R were always followers in the performance sedan category. With Jag's sketchy manufacturing quality/history, I'd park my wallet on the M5.

Jaguar has had better initial quality than all the other Euro lux cars for 9 years running and has better long term dependability than BMW. Look it up.

M5 no question because i have been in a XF and the interior has a cheapish FORD look to it and the XFR is not going to be much different except for some badging in the interior....but yet again another car going after the M5....THATS ODD????? but we will see how it holds up once the XF-R is official

XF has the finest interior in it's class, sit in a BMW 550i and you will see what cheap feels like, the air vents ,doors and plastics etc are all below par!!!

i've been in an XF as well, and i agree, the interior is very cheap looking. it does not even come close to the interiors of lexus, bmw, mercedes or even infiniti.

Neelio you need to learn to read he said the XF is nicer and Ward voted the XF the nicest interior period.
