Ferrari Enzo Replacement Spied

Think of it as Enzo II. This mule, cobbled together from F430 and 430 Scuderia parts, hides what is likely the successor to Ferrari's Enzo. (The car, not the man.)

Codenamed FX70, the new super Ferrari will have to be the best prancing horse yet. It should benefit from lessons learned in Ferrari's factory-backed, Enzo-based FXX and FXX Evoluzione programs.

Specifics on the unnamed car's powertrain are still up on the air, even within Ferrari. Rumors have the company testing a 700-hp twin-turbo V-8 as well as a twin-turbo V-12 making between 750 and 800 hp. Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are a new concern for Ferrari, so direct fuel injection will likely be a part of the package. Strangely, this car's fuel filler door has been covered, leaving no obvious place to inject fuel into the tank. It must be getting in there somehow though, because our spy shooters say this car sounds "just great."

I've met a few individuals who own super cars and drive them 2-3 times out of the week whenever it's not rainy. You're generalizing and making assumptions based on what you have seen or what you think is the case.

The true performance enthusiasts will drive a Vette sure but the true performance enthusiasts will take their Ferrari out on a track with no speed limits and street regulations and unleash the power.

I've seen very dumb vette drivers who think their vette's are Ferrari's and there was this one video of an owner who thought it could handle like an Italian exotic but once he got it back he hit a bus stop. Not to say Vette drivers are bad drivers but there are a good number that think they are the %&%#!

Could be the replacement for the F430. My Ferrari dealer told me that there will be an updated/new F430 in 2010.

LP560-4 now got a substantial power advantage over F430 (60 BHP+), so this could be the new revised more powerful F430 also.

Not sure I like the styling - it doesn't look gorgeous like the other uber-Ferraris before it. Did they want to save money and just stretch an existing skin?

Can't wait to find out what it really is. Ferrari has never disappointed when seen on the streets and I'm sure this next one will not be an exception. I was lucky to see a new California parked a few blocks away from my job and it almost made be late because I couldn't stop starring.
