Reminds me of the TSX a little. Looks better than the current version.

I highly doubt you'll get this in the US. The japanese version is different from the american version. Here in Dubai we get the same looks as the japanese version ( different headlights and taillights ) so we will get this soon.

The Civic is beyond anything GM has to offer in it's class. I'm so glad they stop building that stupid looking Cavalier/Sunfire but they replaced it with the pointless Cobalt that is now going to be replaced by the Cruze which will eventually be replaced by the Snooze which ultimately spells LOSE.. Well, I think you get the picture. craptainamazing4 and his/her alter ego craptainamazing5 (there might be more) come from a long line of "No Life" losers.. Effin this, Effin that.. Another domestic GM badge whore who bites on any over-rated, over-hyped, non-existing concepts put out by these greedy American Car companies. GM Hybrids are a Joke!

Turbospyder , beloved by you VW 2.0 n/a engine also does about 100 horsepower at 4000 rpm .
But for me this doesn`t matter becouse when you want the fastest acceleration possible in every day traffic you have to reduce gear and rev it to it max power revs with every engine , even with engine that has very good low revs torque you will accelerate faster in higher revs , lower torque range .

This is probably the stupidest thing I've read in long time. Having a lot of torque at low RPM saves you from NEEDING to look like a demented monkey that needs to downshift and rev the car to 8000 RPM every time you need to pass the school bus.

You want instant power for every day traffic you buy a car that has a decent amount of torque. You want to rev at 8000 RPM and hear a cheap obnoxious buzzing engine sounding like is going to explode every time you try to pass the school bus, you buy a "sporty" Honda.

PS I own a Honda S2000 so I know how bad the lack of torque is in every day traffic. For weekend at the track though the car is really sweet.

Star , show me other 2.0 n/a engine that has noticeable ( let say 15% ) more torque than honda s2000 engine at low revs to pass school bus faster at low rpm .
BTW , every stick has two ends , you probably more like is-f 5.0 engine than bmw m3 4.0 engine ( 500Nm versus 400Nm torque ) becouse you need to rev bmw m3 engine higher if you want to pass school bus as fast as at low revs in is-f and than you look like demented monkey .
TurboSpyder , of course that I compare n/a engine to n/a engine , honda`s non-performance 2.0 engine ( is in europe , has 155 hp ) has about the same torque at 4000rpm as honda`s 2.0 performance engine ( 200hp , 240hp ) , honda is is not doing turbo performance engines so far , honda is producing high revs engines becouse this is in their "DNA" , their first car - honda S500 also had high revs engine . If you necessarily want to compare VW GTI engine torque to some other so maybe mitsubishi 2.0 turbo is proper competitor .

why does it have to be a N/A engine? Can they not learn how to build a proper turbocharged engine in Japan? Apparently not. All the Japanese turbocharged engines have severe turbo lag while their N/A engines don't have any torque at low RPM. Some engineering...

and by the way you need to actually DRIVE the M3 and the IS-F side by side before claiming that the IS-F makes more power at low RPM. The M3 is the more responsive car at any RPM due to gearing. You cannot look at a sheet of paper and think that graphics are painting the whole image about the driving experience. Get behind the wheel of these cars and then let's share impressions.

My motorcycle goes 0-60 in 2.6 seconds!!! It has a 165 - 180 hp engine (cant remember exact figure) which is a lot more than many cars on the road yet only weighs 575 pounds. Whats your point star?

My point? That perhaps Honda should not use motorcycle engines in their cars? That the SI should use a car engine instead of a motorcycle engine in their cars if they want usable power for every day driving?

P.S. So you have a remote controlled motorcycle. Good for you. Ha, ha, ha...

Strangely British more like civic type-r ( equivalent of civic si ) than other hot hatches . Don`t they know that honda engines are "torque less" like some specialists here .
