Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series Billboard Advertisements
Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series advertisements popping up around Germany, made public via the always popular mediums of the billboard, the subway poster and the side of a semi trailer. Somewhat viral in nature, the billboards all feature distinct marketing messages, including the above pictured "High fiber diets are the key to weight loss," "Whoever said thin was in has not seen these curves," and in the case of the semi trailer advertisement, "Enough torque to make truck drivers jealous."

Exactly M35 There is no SL65 anywhere on that poster. there is however the AMG logo. The SL65 Blackseries is like the flagship of the AMG division, which is why its used.

Autobild recently tested it and awarded it a grade of B+ for handling. It finished 4th place in a 14 car handling test. Here are the results:

1) Lamborghini Gallardo
2) Porsche 911 4S
3) Audi R8
4) Mercedes SL65 AMG BS
5) KTM X-Bow
6) Lotus Elise SC
7) BMW 135i
8) Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X
9) BMW M3
10) MINI Cooper JCW
11) VW Scirocco 2.0 TFSI
12) Lexus IS-F
13) BMW X6 50i

I never knew the Brabus Smart was such a beast!

The Brabus Smart received the grade of "F". It was terrible on the track (all cars here were tested on the track) in all regards and tests. It's pretty funny how they gave the Smart the fun factor grade of A+ amongst a report card of D's and F's! LOL

The IS-F was cited as being inferior to the M3 on the track, but quicker on the autobahns and straight-line performance.

They did indeed. My German is pretty rusty but they said the SL was a surprise in terms of handling. Previous AMG SL's weren't that great on the track, but this thing is both fun and capable. Yep, it was ranked above the BMW M3 and even the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X. This is quite impressive considering the SL65 AMG is no light car. I have the magazine at home as I am working in Austria right now and have access to these articles before they hit the net. I'll try to post the results.
