Hot news about the next LS Lexus

Check out what I just read in the new Road and Track...

Lexus still has plenty of surprises up its sleeve, one of which is the LS 600h. Based on the LS 430, Lexus' popular luxury sedan, this super luxo hybrid will feature the company's future 4.6-liter V-8 coupled with an electric motor. Rumors say the car will produce about 500 bhp (400 from the engine and 100 from the motor), making it one of the most powerful full-size luxury sedans in the marketplace.

Lexus plans to upgrade both its sporty and environmentally sensitive image at the same time. Therefore, the big-bhp LS makes sense. It will have the performance of others in the category, going head-to-head with cars such as the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG. But the Lexus has the added environmentalist cachet of being a hybrid.

good to hear that lexus finally got something to compete with s 65 amg and m5. but 1 thing for sure lexus ls have beated mercedes s class current or future model both,7 series, jaguar XJ and going head to head with audi a8.

so much they have earned in a short period of 15-16 years which mercedes or bmw hasn't acheived in 60-70 years.This my opinion became more truer when i have seen 2007 mercedes S Class,that the company is not able to produce it's flagship model and the 2007 mercedes s class is a mixture of bmw 7 series,audi a8,cls,maybach etc and also they cant create a good suv (ML)which is completly of no use, same design from 1997 and it is the least reliable

and what people r saying about lexus copying mb...what the hell
lexus is a brand of toyota which creates more than 30 models of it's own and what they can't design 6-7 models of lexus which is their prestigeous brand.

u know my father have 3 lexuses 02ls 430,04 ls 430 and 04 lx 470

the cars are amazing and completly different from any manufacturer

this lexus will be most powerful and will be relatively cheaper than s 65 amg or m5 so intelligent people who wants to buy performing sedan will go for this

Hey!! Taek doesnt know what he is talking about. Who says its not going to be practical? IT'S A HYBRID for God's sake. Can't you see it. It's the best luxury car in the world.

Dear BORING LEXUS,

Past and present shows that whenever toyota has taken the challenge and enter in particular class type,like entering in compact class,midlle,suv,luxury,pick-up...etc they have done marvellous job and left all there competitors behind.
Therefore

We can say that, when they will enter into sports and heavy duty vehicles category they will do the same or more than that.

For example this car LS 600h will be the best sportscar when it will be displayed or it will sell almost double than it's competitors... both ways they r ahead

Other Example i'll give to change a little to your ignoring mind is that of TOYOTA FJ CRUISER.
By this car Toyota has very well entered in the category of Hummer,G Class....etc.

This car is going to be the bomb,hydrogen bomb.
And u'll see it's sale and love from people.

All this text and Examples i gave just to show or convice u that Toyota/Lexus can do anything and can beat any competitor thay want.
