Lexus announces model year price changes on select models

Lexus announced Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) today for the 2009 IS 250 and IS 350 luxury sport sedans, IS F high-performance luxury sport sedan, ES 350 luxury sedan, GS 350 and GS 460 luxury sport sedans, GS 450h luxury hybrid sport sedan, LS 460 and LS 460 L premium luxury sedans, the recently added LS 460 and LS 460 L all-wheel drive versions, and the LS 600h L premium hybrid luxury sedan.

I tried to like the current GS, but I could never buy one because it is so small on interior space. It might have the largest interior volume, but Lexus did a poor job of utilizing every inch. The thick doors and the wide transmission tunnel take up precious space. It's a no no for me.

I would go for the MB E class or Infiniti M, both which to me are more spacious on the inside.

So how come the GS is ALWAYS compared against the Infiniti M, Audi A6, MB E-Class and BMW 5-Series then? The Lexus GS happens to compete with these cars, whether you like it or not. Lexus did a poor job in regards to the interior space department. I agree with Wilis on this.

i was never a lexus fan although i have owned a 1999 GS300... and i would say that the predecessor of the current GS is even bigger compared to the GS today which i tend to think is one of the biggest mistakes lexus has ever done... why price it at the top of its class when it doesnt even compare?... to my point of view i would take the ES350... more spacious and worth its price
