Fascination concept to spawn E-Class Coupe, make way for new C-Class coupe

Yesterday, rumors abounded that Mercedes-Benz might be considering renaming the CLK to reflect its E-Class design cues, and now a preview of the Fascination Concept set to debut at next month’s Paris Motor Show has been revealed.

The concept shows what appears to be a CLK ’shooting brake’ style two-door wagon, and the press release that accompanies it confirms Mercedes is working on a ‘future E-Class Coupe,’ previewed by this concept.

Its definitely very odd and not exactly the shape of car we are accustomed to. The only thing I can say for sure that I like is the SLR McLaren inspired front bumper

Yes, based on the looks of the car, I can say I wouldn't be excited to drive it. Much like I don't have to drive a golf cart to tell you I am not excited to drive it based on what it looks like.

fyi...I have driven a golf cart...and can say it can be both thrilling and exciting ^_^

Headlights are 90% GS. Front bumper very new SL65 AMG and the rear fender crease line looks like the BMW CS concept/Dodge Charger. There are some very beautiful design cues in it but i don't like the overall shape. It's a wagon. Sedan would have been good.
