We can't wait to test out the second generation distronic coming on the new S-class.

On the surface this system looks really good.

however, is it really safe to create additional visual distractions for the driver (who's probably already eating ice-cream, shaving and/or applying make-up, talking on the cellphone, drinking a large soda and reading a newspaper all while driving). I hope MB tests the read-out on drivers in the US - who are already multi-tasking.
