Audi seems to be throwing out new models, and now spies have caught what seems to be a new prototype for an Allroad A4. It was caught circulating the Nurburgring.

This doesn't make any sense. Audi already has the regular A4 with AWD. They will be introducing the Q5 for those with off-road interests. An "All-Road" model is redundant.
Perhaps this car is a "mule" for testing new engines, transmissions, etc.

This isn't for the US market, it won't sell here. I think this is for Europe/Asia where this is probably prefered over the Q5 and they get more options over there anyways.

Allroads have always done well in Europe.
SUVs are not as popular over there and other markets.
Making an Allroad is brilliant. It drives even better than a SUV and do the same off road.
I loved the old Allroad.

good spelling
the allroad customer was the most loyal customer. The Allroad is a bit of a special car for the US Market.
With the new size of the A4 this might be a better car for the US because of price then the existing A6 allroad

What has happened to your spelling. In addition to being obnoxious and irrational, "illiterate" can be added to your list of charms. Or, are you so drunk from drowning your sorrows over losing your boyfriend to a guy who drove an Audi, that you can't spell?

Dude, you seriously need spell check.
How you think that you are so superior to everyone else on this site is beyond me.
You talk about community college drop outs and mid level managers and you can't even spell simple words.
You really do give a true german car fans a bad name.
You should be ashamed at some of the crap you post on this site.

I applaud amazinbimmers post. It seemed that he got stuck in the snow and an audi flipped the bird at him when the audi driver passed by.

I don't like it too much either, I much prefer the B8 S4. Hopefully this is some B8 RS4 mule doing some early testing that got misnamed.
As for the allroad, awesome car. I wish they brought over the newer one, I dunno if it's C6 or what, but its a nice looking car.
oh,
and amazinbimmer sucks.

This is NOT an Allroad, it's definitely an widebody A4 mule with an RS4 engine. There would never, ever be an A4 Allroad sedan. That's almost as dumb as a Murano convertible.

Audi should be trying to develop competitive engines for the A4 instead of this contraption.

THIS ISN'T AN ALLROAD. It doesn't take a genius to see that. Use your head.
A4 2.0T - 211hp/258lb ft, 24MPG combined
S4 3.0S - 333hp/325lb ft, 24MPG combined
Competitive enough for ya? The only crappy one is the 3.2.

An A4 Outback?
At least it doesn't have the monster lights like Subaru stole from some plastic-clad Pontiac!
But maybe it is just an S4 with "murdered out" fenders for the home-boys?
