F1 Singapore Preview , Lewis Hamilton Ready

This track looks completely insane, plus there is night racing involved. anyone on here attending the event?

I love F1. I'd give my left nut to be there...

its the highlight of the season and i guess anyone with a drop of gas in the veins will watch it.

I hope they fix up the roads there (which they likely did). I use to have a home in Singapore and the roads were bumpy as hell. Too bad i'm not over there to watch it. The only racing i've watched was the Vancouver Indy (which is nothing compared to F1)

Hopefully this is better than that street race in Spain. As a spectator it looked like they were racing around an airport, I don't think the drivers cared much for it either. I'm not expecting another Monaco, just a decent track.

can't wait for the first night race. Singapore new track looks very advanced and stunning.
and above all i hope kimi do something great and his championship situation improves.
Also Toyota should score some good points, they definately are the fourth fastest team and i hope they get the reward.

Oh this Singapore race is a first night race? Do you know which station it will be on? I'm back and forth Vancouver, BC and Phoenix, AZ. I better not miss it.

i used to like him, but he showed what kind of an asshole he is, especially in the last race.

i'm talking about pushing glock off the wet track while going 250km/h on a straight with a 2m safety distance to the wall. risking lifes for 1-2 point? nice, symphatic guy!

best part of it was the interview afterwards: oh really? i didnt see him.

Seriously, get a clue. Glock got passed, tried to come back on the outside, and Hamilton was having none of it. And Hamilton did not say "I didn't see him." He said he didn't know Glock was trying to pass because no one passes on the outside at the Lesmos. Not even Montoya would have tried that, and he pulled off some of the craziest passes of the last 20 years.
Hamilton's passes were the highlight of the Italian GP. Alonso and Glock's complaints were mere grumblings from humbled drivers.

they were almost driving wheel2wheel and i highly doubt that he didnt know that glock tried to pass him.
your are talking about hamiltons highlight passes? that aint no rocket science with a totally advanced car that allows to break meters later than every other car in the field.
the absolut highlight pass would have been glocks one. dont screw the facts. even a hardcore hamilton fan should see his mistake.
btw,if you want to talk about highlights, dont forget the most important one: the youngest grandprix winner ever in a private team cockpit. flying start, rain and serious mistakes from others helped a lot, but nevertheless the results count

Sorry, but you were trying to discuss Hamilton being an asshole because he passed Glock and defended his position -- not Vettel's win. Choose the topic and stick to it. Hamilton gave Glock a choice: back off or go into the grass. That's what happens in the top level of racing. Did you ever hear Michael Schumacher complaining about how Hakkinen, Alonso or Raikkonen passed him?

Don't take this stuff personally -- no need for petty insults. You seem to be a fan -- albeit one who has not watched F1 for long -- but I welcome fans who root for any driver and most of all, root for real racing. Glock may complain, but any racer will tell you Hamilton did exactly what he should have.

New track plus nighttime racing should provide for some fun. I look forward to this race!

I think this is going to be a great race. And with the title as close as it is, there's pressure on the top three teams and the top three drivers in the points.
