Lamborghini four-door-coupe to be called Estoque
Before we say anything else, the image above isn’t a teaser. It’s a wonderful photoshop by LamboPower.com member, a007apl, that gives us a view of what the rear of Lamborghini’s four-door-coupe will look like.

An anonymous Lamborghini official told InsideLine that the Lamborghini concept that it will show at the 2008 Paris Motor Show won’t be called Urus, a name that has been floating around blogs and other auto websites, when it enters production...

I agree i think its going to be based on the UGLY A$$ panamera car lets make sure this one looks better than the porsche crap.

It may be based on the Panamera, but the exterior will make better use of the overall lengthy body lines. And Lambo wouldn't have to work with the Porsche self-imposed historical design elements that seems to hinder recent designs.

The R8 is based on the Gallardo, not the other way around. It wasn't planned as an Audi platform from the start.

I wouldn't be so sure of this one being based on the Porsche. It could be a stand alone model.

Estoque = A8 = Phaeton

That's not true, but even if it was, it would be a gorgeous sedan.

I feel bad for other debuts at Paris that are going to be completely overshadowed when this steals all the light....I am of course assuming it is attractive, but lamborghini has done little to lessen my confidence in their design department

Like I have said in earlier comments: A successful 4-dr will lead to a possible return of the LM002. It'll be jointly developed with the Audi & Porsche SUVs and be non-off-roadable.

The XF is gorgeous? lol...please...stop...your comedy is too much.

The XF is the best Lincoln that never was & what a Volvo S80 will never be. (See MKS) Ford has duped too many people with this one. The real visual & technical quiz will be the next XJ...what tha heck are they gonna do wit dat?!

Just like an SUV was an unknown to Audi, Porsche, M-B, etc not long ago...the exotic brand is do for expansion and evolution. There have been some excellent coach-built-type versions of luxury sedans & SUVs that prove extending a brand's lineup is good if done right.

Should definitely be an awesome concept/car.

This is a market Lamborghini shouldn't enter. Stick with their exotic playboy super cars. Since when is Lamborghini a family car manufacturer that can hold more than 2 passengers? It just better not look like the Panamera (I think is ugly). Lets hope Porsche doesn't have any influence on this Lamborghini since Porsche is the head company of VW>Audi>Lamborghini. Unlikely though.

People say this is a market they shouldn't enter, but it is a market where people who actually buy a supercar have been wanting a 4 door that is even more exclusive than your typical Audi A8 or Merc S-Klasse. Hence Aston as well as Porsche have been cooking up their 4 doors. Maserati's Quattroporte has been a hot seller for them. In NYC here, you see many of them up and down Park Ave & Madison. So much so I believe that these other companies also want a piece of the pie. What better way for a business exec (at least those that are left after this financial disaster)to ride around NYC than in a 4 door Lambo

This is like a hyper QP. It will still be a supercar, just with four doors. The Aston Martin Rapide is its most obvious competition. You think that's a "family car?"
