I've never seen an X6 without tinted windows. They should be a mandatory "option".

Unfortunately I'm gonna have to beat this dead horse as well. These photos confirm that the 7 looks too much like the LS. Ok, I'm done hitting the poor horse.

Some may say the Lexus copy the 7, I forget the actual model number but the rear pays hommage to the 1990 7 series

I only see the exhaust being a similarity. The lights are different enough that you shouldn't confuse them, at least by these pictures

Take a look at that 7-Series Instrument Panel. It would seem to be a bit disconcerting to sit in the passenger seat.

It would seem to feel like sitting in front of a retaining wall. Perhaps there should be a 'bulls-eye' on the passenger side airbag cover.

Can't wait to hear the actual impressions of sitting in the car and driving the car - I'm not sold on the package yet.

You're pretty critical of BMWs, aren't you?

Not really - I have a 328i hardtop/cabriolet that I like very much (aside from the meager trunk room when the top is down) and an S550.

I sadly miss the days of the older BMW's - the E30 3-series was I think the high point of the marque, followed by the design leadership of the late 80's early 90's 5/7 series. I think the current x5 is pretty great - though I think the x6 is pretty pointless.

I also think the addition of run-flat tires across the board has diminished the driving experience - though on paper, the cars may deliver better performance numbers they just clomp over bumps now, shaking the car's structure.

I've never before seen the new 750's IP from the passenger side, and I have to say, it seems, in my opinion to loom across the dashboard with all the grace of a brick wall. Perhaps it was the camera angle.

I love it. The press pictures were terrible as expected but I think this car will be stunning in black or a metallic gray.

I think I started to like the new 7 Series.

Looks really cool.

Yeah possibly in black, maybe white, but overall the new 7 is just a quirky looking machine. Sure it's very sleek but overall it's just ruined by the taillight design & dated front end.

Seriously the front end of the 7 looks so bland in that sand beige color, it reminds me of an E39 5-series (Last gen 5er) just with a bigger grill...Dated to say the least.

This is the best looking BMW yet.
