2008 Vw Scirocco by ABT

Yesterday we saw the Vw Scirocco by Oettinger, a good looking tuning kit which really surprised us. Today ABT, the great tuner specialized in German vehicles, unveiled its tuning kit for the Scirocco. The new kit includes an ABT front grill, a redesigned front bumper, new side sills featuring stylish air inlets , a new rear skirt and wing and a diagonally attached 4-pipe rear muffler, just like the Lexus IS-F. The new sets of BR or AR alloy wheels, available in 18 to 20 inch dimensions, complete this stylish tuning kit.

The stability of the vehicle is improved due to the new suspension system which lowers the Scirocco with up to 30 millimeters. The new ABT body kit for the Scirocco will be launched in January 2009 at a price of 5,990 Euros of $8,290.

The new Scirocco is such a good looking car, and I even like this bodykit. Slightly overdone but still sexy.

Why can't VW bring this pretty car to the US. Not everyone wants to drive an ordinary hatchback that has been tuned to drive decently. Sometimes people actually like cars with style. The new GTI is a slight improvement over the old one but still does not hold a candle to the Scirocco in the looks department. further the Scirocco has better handling because it's lower and has a wider track.
