2008 PARIS MOTOR SHOW: Lexus LF-Xh Hybrid in matte-black

We’re huge fans of matte-black and feel that it’s now a popular enough color for manufacturers to offer it in the color palette. Lexus is showing this matte-black LF-Xh concept in Paris right now, and we have to say it looks a lot better than the one we saw at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.

The LF-Xh concept is powered by a V6 gasoline engine and is matted to a high-output electric motor hybrid system. It also gives us a major hint at what the 2010 Lexus RX SUV will look like.

Matte black is cool.

This concept is a hell of a lot better than the IS convertible.

I wonder if Lexus would ever release a matte black production color.

Liking the overall design direction. Front bumper looks a bit chunky from the 3/4 view, though may just be the photograph.

well, the RX400h has the 3.3 which was detuned to 220 horsepower. with the two electric motors, it whips out 268. thats a 50hp increase.

so with the 270 horsepower engine currently from the 3.5, detuned to 260, im guessing 310ish

Not bad for a soccer mom car, it actually looks aggressive. Lexus better not water the design down the design.
