2010 Ford Mustang dashboard teaser

2010 Ford Mustang dashboard teaser
It’s that time of the week again. With 41 days and 9 hours left, Ford has released another teaser for the 2010 Ford Mustang.

Last time we saw the front right headlamp of the new pony. This time we get a peek at the dashboard. Not much of a difference here from the current 2009 Mustang; however, the center console is still hidden in the picture. We’re not expecting anything surprising there so don’t expect much. Nonetheless, we’re digging the bolder and solid...

Has anything about the current gen. even changed? Based on all of the teasers, it looks like Ford just facelifted its current mustang.

Who knows the gauges might be 1/2 and inch bigger or the steering wheel is moved .5cm to the right.

Agreed. TOTALLY DULL. Looks like somebody bumped their camera while clambering out of a rental car.

Agreed. I don't see the need for the teasers if its just facelifting and not whole sale change. But maybe they are leaking it to us so we're not disappointed when they don't dramatically improve anything. Seems about right for Ford.

The 2010 is an evolutionary mid-cycle refresh - not at all a new car. But having some knowledge of the matter I can tell you that the new interior is a dramatic step up from the current one. Most people know that the current car's interior is a cheap plastic hellzone. This new dash is a one-piece soft-touch molding that has a heavy solid feel. Real metal is used throughout, and the switchgear is all new with that tactile rubbery feel.

The new 2010 Stang is supposed to based on the 08/09 Bullet Mustang in chassis tuning and engine. So this is a little more then cosmetic.

That is just tires, shock valving and spring rates. Nothing to write a technical paper on. The extra power from the cold air intake and software bump is barely noticeable on the track.

In a showroom where Chevy has a 300 hp V6 and a 400+hp V8, it will be of little consequence.

All this interior and exterior noodling is great, but without a substantial engine option with WOW factor, this horse is galloping into mediocrity.

Looks like the same era of interior design as BMW :)

Sick and tired of teasers...its like waiting for Halo three to come out from back in the day.

This is an armor all type of dash board.
