You really summed it all up in your above comment StarSearch. "Here come the usual suspects....helloooo 100+ comments...oh, and me being deboosted for no reason suddenly."

You just proved that you are nothing but an attention seeking whore, much like the old saying, "the only bad publicity is no publicity."

You will do anything to keep yourself in the spotlight, even if it makes you look like an ass.

So go ahead and be an ass. I no longer want to respond to such ignorant, childish and self indulgent comments such as the ones you put on this site.

You really give new meaning to the phrase: "low self esteem and over compensation.

Good luck at getting a BOOST once in a while, that is unless you give it to yourself.

it just means its faster and more comparable to the 335 rather than to the 328; it doesn't mean its faster

It has always been comparable to the 335i and not the 328i... The G35 matches the 335i in power and the G37 exceeds it.

Uh, what are you talking about? The 3 Series outsells the G by a wide margin. Even the A4/A5 outsold the G35/G37 in September.

3 Series sales were down last month by some hideous percentage but it still outsold the G by two to one. G sales aren't exactly on the increase, my friend.

More people buy BMWs for the status. People who buy Infiniti buy it because it has BMW performance and luxury at a lower price point. Don't get me wrong the BMW is a well built car, I just don't think they need to add in the "B" the "M" and the "W" surcharge.

After less than 3 years, the Infinite's interior will start falling apart. So you are also paying for quality.

If it's a perception thing...then I'm sold on German cars...they hold their resale better, 10 years from now they still look good, and with proper maintenance they can last a lifetime.

M53R, do you know how many times the weather stripping fell off of my 325Ci? Or the sunroof going off of the alignment? or the shift gear not being able to go to DS mode sometimes? or the stiching of the driver's side leather seat breaking loose? or control arms easily bending? or front bushings worn at 60k miles? not to mention all the electrical and sensor problems I've had...I could go on and on.

BMW may use higher quality plastic and leather but they sure don't seem to stay in place for too long either.

Zero problems on my G37s 6spd manual that I wrip the shnit out of every day.

Another BS article. Comparing that POS Infiniti G with a BMW 335i is like comparing Rosie O'Donnell with Miss Universe and concluding that they look somewhat similar.

On one side we have the cheaply built Nissan with the lifeless VQ tractor engine and in the other side the built like a tank, masterful piece of engineering from BMW with the buttery smooth powerhouse BMW 6 cylinder twin-turbo engine. They are a match...or NOT!

What's next, Acura TSX "match's"(ha, ha, ha)the Mercedes C63 AMG performance times? Retarded sheep...

The VQ engine is a piece of garbage. Drive a VW R32(comes with a VR6) if you want to see a real engine smooth to the redline and with torque available at any RPM. Nissan/Infiniti build garbage.

I really like how Nissan/Infiniti decided to turn things around. I remember in the early 90's, Infiniti had a great car in the Q series but bad ads and stupid commercials failed to focus on the product. Now (the new design of the FX series not withstanding) Infiniti has a solid line of performance vehicles. Quality is without question tops in class, and every new generation brings something better. Good going Infiniti for staying the course.

Outrunning a CX-7 or 530i is not exactly a hugely impressive feat. The 5 goes from 0-60 in the six second range, and the CX in the seven or eight range.

I just purchasing a fully-loaded Infiniti G37s coupe. I compared it to the 335i on many factors. Given that I just sold my X5 4.8is and have owned several other BMWs I am a BMW fan. Clearly, the G37s is a wonderful car for the price. While I like BMWs, value has never been a strong suit of their cars. Typically, I spend over $15,000 on options like nav, sports packages, premium packages, keyless entry, iPod integration. My X5 4.8is was a nearly $80,000 car. For $47,000 sticker, and much less after aggressive negotiations, the G37s is a wonderful car. Yes, it is a bit slower in the straights. Some of the buttons are a bit low end (but better than my fathers 350 Z) But, it have some key features you cannot get on the 3 series – power tilt / telescopic console, limited slip differential, hard drive, voice nav that works and more. Given the economy, I couldn’t see paying top dollar for the lowest end BMW – a 3 series. My new car payment is ½ my old car payment – that was / is the key consideration for me. Plus, the car is great fun, fast enough, and sound wonderful.
