Without a doubt, the M5 is an incredible performer. But I can't help but wonder if BMW had to plug in ten cylinders and that much horsepower just to help some people get over the ugly factory.

For those who like the styling, this is what heaven must look like, eh?

Spiritfilled, I couldn't agree with you more. BMW design is very forward-thinking and I am absolutely awed by them. I'm also an artist and up until the Bangle redesigns, I held Merc designs tops. Not anymore, though; BMW design has made me view not just car design, but design in general in a new light. And when progressive design was finally combined with the performance heritage, I really did not look beyond BMW anymore; it just seemed all-rounded from then on.
Honestly, it is as though you read my mind!

around that. Yes it is a great car and all that but don't say it is the design of the future! Ugly is ugly and that is that. I guess Ferrari and Porsche and Mercedes and all the others ought to follow BMW's bangle. Get real.
