750hp Corvette Z06 engine is yours for $37,000
The 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is currently listed at a lofty $103,300 (not including taxes) but you can get similar performance in a standard Corvette, at least in a straight line, with the addition of Katech’s new 'Air Attack LS7 Supercharged' crate engine.

The latest powerplant from the Detroit-based motorsports and tuning firm is based on the LS7 7.0L V8 found in the Z06 but features a new forced-induction system designed specifically for the drag strip.

750HP's for only 37G's?...Damn thats almost half the price of Nissans Godzilla. I wonder if any car magazine will compare these two beasts.

They will not compare this to the GT-R for one reason. Horsepower is a mere 250-270 in difference. Word on the street is that several shops and large editorial Edmunds.com has ran dyno tests for Godzilla and came out at 500 smackeroonies. Although that may jeopardize the validity of the whole Nurburgring time it doesn't matter, it just means based on luck of the draw, an owner will get even more value.

I have sights on a downpayment for the Spec V when production isn't on halt. For the price of a Corvette I much rather get a GT-R. For the price range of MSRP: $126,200-$136,500 my 997TT is a fabulous car.

I don't think he's pretending. Nissan fanboys can be fans of Porsches too it's not that uncommon. You make it seem like their a species not of this earth haha.

In reality its about 350hp as the rest of the 400hp is turned into tire smoke.
