Teaser: 2010 Ford Mustang Shiftknob Revealed

Teaser: 2010 Ford Mustang Shiftknob Revealed
Don’t worry, we know you’re probably getting impatient with all these teasers (total of 10 released now) but there are only 35 days and 13 hours until FoMoCo takes the wraps off the 2010 Ford Mustang.

Today, Ford released a teaser showing the shiftknob for the manual 2010 Mustang. Not much has changed then the previous models - in fact it’s the same shiftknob seen on the 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt.

We’ll get to see the whole pony in all its glory at the 2008 LA Auto Show next month.

All these teasers (for a facelift) are incredibly lame.

Also, Ford should be embarressed they are offering a performance car with only a 5-speed manual. This isn't 1994 anymore. 6MT should be standard.

5speed has been around since the 80s on Japanese and European cars.

Oh my dear God! Yes! All my dreams have been answered; I don't know how long I've waited to see the shift knob.

Stop putting the car on a pedestal it doesn't deserve, it's not going to get the hype that they want it to. Great car in terms of restarting the trend, but let's get serious...this is getting annoying

Good grief. And it is actually the same shift nob used in a previous model. WHO CARES?

Maybe they will reveal that the new mustang will have a red light bar like KIT on Knight Rider - that show riced out the Mustang the same way Fast and the Furious did to imports with big can mufflers. Ford needs to have that show cancelled - its bad for the Mustang.

God not the SHIFT KNOB!!! They're giving away all theyre secrets!!!

Geeze, just show us the car already. This is just Fords attempt to generate a lot of hype about the "new" mustang and compete with the superior Challenger and far superior Camaro.
