Cadillac CEO leaves to become CEO of HUMMER

Jim Taylor has left his position as a CEO at Cadillac to become CEO of HUMMER as GM is still in the process of selling the SUV brand. We don’t know if that’s a smart move by Taylor or a dumb move - but that all depends on the future of the General.

Hummer is the poster child of environmental incorrectness. Do they have any brand equity left? Even if their vehicles were suddenly infused with hybrid engines?

Seems like an odd move.

hmmmm, that would be like the CEO of Bank of America leaving to join National City Mortgage... Sounds risky to me. Must have a nice severance package in store if he is let go at a failing brand. A golden parachute and quick and easy money. Get paid millions to run a company into the grounds... Hopefully he has a plan for them that will restore profits.

I actually believe that Hummer will shock us with a new concept vehicle, the fusion of "smart" car with H1 in an electro-biodiesel-solar panel hybrid convertible with pick up bed...did I mention that the car will be amphibian?
