Would you take a Dodge Challenger SRT10 over a Viper?

You can't just show up to SEMA with a stock production vehicle. That's why the gearheads at SRT engineering decided to drop the 600 horse 8.4 litre Dodge Viper engine into the Dodge Challenger.

It's branded as the 09 Dodge Challenger SRT10 Concept and you will be able to see it the upcoming SEMA auto show in November. Dropping the 600 horse V10 engine from the Viper makes you want to forget about that old snake altogether now that it 's heart is in the body of the sexy new Dodge Challenger.

though I've dreamed of owning a Viper, the Challenger SRT10 is pretty slick.

I've sure getting replacement parts (except a new engine) would be easier to come by, therefore significantly lowering insurance costs.

Not terribly fond of either, but I'd take the Challenger for free. Or the Viper, if I could get a personalized plate that read: AXMRDRR (Clarkson reference) ;)
