HKS offers first mods for Lexus IS-F
The Lexus IS F is something of an enigma - at once an entry-level luxury sedan and a performance beast, offering legitimate power figures but hampered somewhat by its automatic transmission.

Another of the problems those that ply their IS Fs on the track may have bumped into is the speed limiter - set at an already lofty 170mph (273km/h). That's no longer a concern thanks to the Japanese tuners at HKS.

In the US, I feel like removing the speed limiter is an absoluteyl pointless exercise. There isn't really any place on public roads where you can hit 186mph and I don't see IS-F owners tracking their cars either.

I thought that the IS-F was supposed to put the M3 back in the trailer? What ever happened to that?

Don't forget, the same Lexus fanboys who said that are now telling us the LF-A will dominate the best from Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, AMG, etc.

HSC:

The GTR already has that covered. I think the Lexus LF-A will be a supercar that will demonstrate what a powerful company with mucho dinero can bring to the table while introducing future Lexus technologies & inovations.

It's kinda like a coming out party for a company who has made it this far, it may not be the best (yet) but def. is an accomplishment. It will be a Toyota celebration!! :)
