Aston Martin won’t call drop-top DBS ‘Volante’ or ‘Roadster’
Aston Martin is confused. According to AutoTelegraaf, the sports car maker is not sure it wants to carry over the ‘Roadster’ or ‘Volante’ badge for its DBS convertible that is due out next year. A company spokesman said that the brand is still looking for a suitable name for the open-top DBS.

Aston Martin currently uses ‘Roadster’ for its two-seater drop-top V8 Vantage. The ‘Volante’ badge is used on the four-seater DB9. The Aston Martin DBS seats two.
