$1,300,000 Maybach Landaulet...... If you had that money and didn't care, would you even consider this?

$1,300,000 Maybach Landaulet...... If you had that money and didn't care, would you even consider this?
Is this car even worth the price?......

Last time I remembered, the regular 62 version was only 400-500k as well as the 62s..... but just adding a soft top to the rear seats allow almost another million to be added?....

To me I would take the regular 62 Saloon personally....

What about you?

If you guys haven't sat in a Maybach before then don't be too quick to judge. It's dead quiet in there and is extremely comfortable. It lives up to the name of business jet on wheels. ANYWAYS, with that said I wouldn't buy it or even if Bentley or RR had something like this. You buy a car like this to keep the noise out and if you want a car without a roof then there are plenty of luxurious convertibles like the SL, V8 Vantage, Bentley GTC, RR Drophead, DB9 Volante, take your pick.

hahaha... lexus.... well yea of course again it is personal opinions.... but for me i believe that the non-convertible 62 or 62s is good enough.... convertibles are only trouble especially for a car like this...

I saw that thing in person at the NAIAS -- it was hideous. No. If I wanted an ostentatious, ridiculously expensive convertible I'd get a Rolls Drophead, and if I needed the office on wheels too I could get a Phantom as a second car... and still SAVE half a million $$$ over the Laundelet, all while maintaining just as much, if not more, of the "look how rich I am" factor.

Honestly, I would prefer the 62S over this car anyday. The theme of it seems to fit the Pope in my opinion.

LOL.........They are joking right? $1.2 million for this sup up Benz? Yeah right. If I had that of money to blow on cars, I would get the Bentley Continental GT-C instead.

Way better looking and are prestige than this Benz. Sorry to said it, but it the true, it just sup up Benz.

Like see with $1.2 millions, I can the following cars:

1) Aston Martin Vantage S
2) Aston Martin DBS
3) Lambo Gallardo
4) Ferrari F430
5) Lexus IS-F
6) BMW M3
7) Audi RS4

and probably still have some money to take the ladies to a fancy dinner or two ;-)

Lexus

I think it's kind of ugly, so I wouldn't buy it for looks.

It may be luxurious and comfortable, but it doesn't look like $1.3M worth of luxury.

And most people don't know cars priced at this level, so they will be just as impressed with a $100K or $200K car as they would be with a $1.3M car, so it wouldn't be worth it for the prestige. The people who WOULD know about the value/exclusivity of this car probably have plenty of money of their own, and wouldn't be impressed.

So, adding it up: No + No + No = NO.
