Audi A4 reaches 203mph on biogas

The search for an less toxic alternative fuels is leading in many promising directions, one of which is bio-gas.

Effectively a form of natural gas made from plants, the fuel was used this week to speed a modified B7 Audi A4 quattro to a bio-gas world speed record of 203.3mph (327.2km/h) on a test track in Germany.

After a thorough long term test, iron out the kinks, sell the tech to every carmaker and mass produce this engine for the masses. Impose a tax holiday for 1 year for this type of non gasoline mass produced car (minimum of 500,000 units) and our dependence on polluting oil (gas or diesel) will definitely subside.

Audi is going to be slapped with the ignorance tax in the USA. Anti foreign car buyers, self centered hybrid owners and politicians. If Audi is persistent it should be well worth it.
