Gilberto, I guess u have a point. The very reason y Lexus has been a flop in Europe is Toyota (why would u buy a rebadged mass production car for 30% more) AND the lack of originality in Lexus designs. The new GS is actually a copycat of the 5 door Toyota Carina E, sold in Europe between 1992 and 1997; at least not a Merc/Bimmer design from the start. The RX however is the exception of this rule (it is in fact original, apart from design experiments of Bertone and I.D.E.A.). Guess what ? 85% of Lexus sales in Europe are the RX300 (330 & 400h not sold there as of yet).
