Nissan Drops A Few Photos Of The 370Z Ahead Of Los Angeles Debut
With precious few details about Nissan's new 370Z available.  Nissan released several images of the coupe version today destined for a Los Angeles debut in November.

Expect to see the new Z matched with a 6 speed manual or even a 7 speed automatic transmission similar to that in Infiniti's new G37. 

Inside the cockpit the pod type insrument theme has been carried over with the new z however Nissan says improved interior materials through out in an effort to make the new Z a much better place to sit.

As soon we have more details we will let you know.

Agreed, interior looks great. I worry about the quality of materials used though. If they are cheap, hopefully Infiniti's version will step it up.

I'm a German car fan myself...and not a big fan of anything Nissan...but this is actually a pretty hot ride! The GT-R should have looked this sexy!

I'm surprised you like it. At first I did too but the more I look at it the bulkier and shorter it seems. The back is a big bubble reminding me of the Crossfire and as much as I love wide fenders, those seem a bit overdone as well.

Also, the front and rear lights are starting to bother me since it's coppied off straight from the Maxima when it should always be the other way around (regular car following sports car cues).

the snow lasted for a brief moment in NJ and the snow is only temporary; AWD shouldnt be the deciding factor of buying a sports car. get another car for snow/trips/etc

I agree, which is why I mentioned the FX series. If hauling through snow is a problem for you, then you shouldn't be considering a sports car as your daily driver to begin with.

nissan is really trying to cut costs, i mean seriously how many more cars will get the "exact" same dashboard......but otherwise i really like the desighn, and the interior at least does appear to be a huge improvement over the last one

That's my one problem, too. Don't love the headlights, but I think it succeeds in spite of them (more so than the Maxima).

I hated the Maxima at first, but somehow the next few times after the first time, I liked it quite a bit, and, even more-so than the BMW 5er. But, that's me and I know opinions will vary.

I do not like this design! One, i don't like the headlights, and I don't like that style on the altima either. Two, that corner at the top of the A-pillar is so annoying and disrupts the flow of the roofline making it look choppy. Three I don't like the trunk close-line on the side that goes from the window to the taillights, from the rear 3 quarter view it looks like the roof is a flat slab on top of the car. I like the car other than those three elements.

this will probably be deboosted, but I totally agree with you. In addition to what you mentioned, I'm also not a fan of the LCD screen in the leftmost pod of the gauge cluster. Did they throw it in as an afterthought? It doesn't match the other two gauges at all. Should have had a black surround with a orange on black display, instead of black on orange.

All that said I'm sure it will be a great drive.

Really nice design, both exterior and interior. My only complaint are the 'Z' logos and gauges right above central stack.

For me 'Z' is a spirit, and doesn't need to be literal.

A lot of nit picking here but overall a very good design.Taken as a whole it is a definate improvement on the previous design. The interior is also improved in quality. It should be a runaway success.

Yes , I also think it`s overall shape is similar to Datsun 240Z . It`s looking way better than previous 350Z that is looking like muscle car . Looking like muscle car is good but for American cars .
