Saudi Royal Family orders 80 Kahn Cosworth 300 Sport vehicles

Last week we told you about the Kahn Cosworth 300 Sport, the new vehicle based on the Land Rover Range Rover Sport from the exclusivist tuning house Project Kahn.

It seems we weren’t the only one who like the vehicle: the Saudi Royal Family ordered already 80 units of this vehicle, each priced at £70,000 ($116,118 or €89,142) for a standard customization program and £122,226 ($202,758 or €155,684) for a fully customized vehicle with every option installed. According to a spokesman of the Arab Royal Family, the members wanted the cars before anybody else and considering the order of 80 units for a while (until Project Kahn produces all the cars) they will be the only people in the world who will drive such a car. You guys are aware of their wealth right? Their family consists of many billionaires and have companies and can probably have a way to do a write off. Hell, it's their country, their money, their laws, so who knows. All i know is the money is going to outlive their family, might as well spend it.

2. Spending money you own is not the point being made. It's spending what most people consider a vast sum of money just so noone else on earth can drive a specific car, that is just childish. Especially when everyone already hates you for current gas prices, and what they tried to do last week through OPEC.

I was pretty excited to see this headline, but I was sure that somewhere in the article they would mention that they are all being purchased to be crushed and melted so nobody will ever be forced to see this disaster again. I suppose that's what I get for getting my hopes up.

That's got to be the worst aftermarket front clip ever. In the realm of terrible tuner concepts - which are never in short supply - this thing still sticks out like a sweatpants boner.

Why are you guys crying like little girls? You make it seem like the world is out of Range Rovers. Don't forget we still have the supercharged Range Rover's stateside and their quick and their high end luxury SUV's with Mercedes ML/GL and BMW X5. Since when are North Americans sympathetic to the rest of the world?.
