2010 Ford Fusion officially revealed

A selection of gas-powered engines will provide more horsepower and higher fuel savings in the 2010 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan mid-size sedans, which is a head taller than rivals for their tough dependability and forceful dynamics.

For this year, the 2010 Fusion and Milan will furnish the all-new Ford Duratec 2.5-liter I-4, creating 175 hp; a highly improved 3.0-liter V6 that provides 19 hp in excess of its forerunner; and a 3.5-liter V6 that squeezes out 263 hp on the Fusion Sport variant.

Fusion cars that come equipped with the 2.5-liter I-4 engine are anticipated to produce at least 3 miles to the gallon better on the highway in contrast to the Honda Accord and 2 miles to the gallen better than the Toyota Camry.

this might be able to raise the sales compared to the last model but i dont think that i cant be compared to the camry still.... unless they have something special which i really doubt for ford so far....

But I liked the old headlights. The tall headlights looked like Cadillac Deville Headlights. It gave miser owners a more luxurious look at an entry level price. Why is it that the trend seems to be to cheapen entry level cars. If entry level cars are given too much, the auto makers say whoops, we better tone it down, because these people aren't paying the Lincoln price. I hate that mentality. Build each car the best you possibly can, and just build the luxury liners even better. Don't short change people, it will come back to bite you.

The headlights look more like the Focus or Ford Escort. I don't like a car that trumpets cheapness.
I'm sure the rest of the car is better though.

The more important question is, will they build a Wagon Version? Since there is no more Focus Wagons, this small segment needs a wagon, as small cars usually have a smace deficit, and a wagon at the same price would be a good marketing campain.

I love dis car!! I can't wait to see the rest of it! One thing that i noticed with our fusion the fit n finish is not very good hopefully this is better.

I can not believe that Ford can not come up with a better design than this. Its sad.
