please explain.... I think this guy did a great job of what he was trying to do. Your average person won't know the difference. Get a few GM Performance Products upgrades and you've got 300+ HP. The only completely obvious giveaway is the interior, but it's hard to change up interiors.

Have you ever done something like this? It's not easy in the slightest, and for that, I have to give the guy credit.

I have however, seen better than this... On one of those kit-car sites some guy had a dead-on Lambo Diablo VT, exterior, interior and everything..... Only it had a Chevy V8, a 6-speed, race suspension, etc. And it had a tuned exhaust... without looking under the hood, it was nearly impossible to tell.

It could be the fact that the car does not have a flat plane V10 engine that could make all the difference.

It could be much worse though. I mean if he maybe lowered the front end and changed the wheels it'd be half decent for those who like to put on a front.

The same thing was done with the Pontiac Fiero.

I think it'd fool anyone that wasn't really into cars. But w/ the top up its hideous and the interior is obv stolen from a Vette. Def not worth $70k. It might be worth the same price as a Solstice, but def not much more.

Why did they use a front engine car as a base for a mid-engine replica? Why not an MR-S or Fiero?
