001 Calling ALL Mac Users-Let 004 Hear How Many AutoSpies.com Readers Use Macs
So I've been busting 004's chops about how lame some of our code and capabilities are if you're using a Mac and he keeps chirping back that he's not changing anything for just 3 users.

He won't listen to me cry because I've migrated everything over to Macs on my side, so I need your help to incentivise him to take Mac users seriously.

It ain't 5 years ago.

My guess is close to 20% of our readers use Mac's in this day and age.

Take our Poll please!!!!

Arrgh...He's a PC and I'm a Mac!

I use Safari for reading the site, however I have to use Firefox to post to get the full HTML console.

I really don't like Firefox, I prefer Safari.

Mac is the only way to go, PC is so 1990's.

I use one of my 3 Mac's and an iPhone, all with Safari. One of the only sites I have trouble with is AutoSpies. When scrolling through the articles, the list seems to jump as if it is trying to guess which one I am reading and putting that one at the top of the screen. How about just a regular list that we can scroll through?

It would be interesting to see what kinds of cars MAC users drive. Im thinking most MAC users have better taste in cars than the PC counterpart.

And I took mine out of the box and plugged it in. But seriously, you are a car enthusiast. One can make the argument that the Kia Rio is every bit as functional as a Porsche in the sense that they both get you from point A to point B, they both have radios and they both have air conditioning. That said, I'm thinking I wouldn't see that Korean econobox in your garage if given the choice. Why then shouldn't I get some pleasure out of my Macs? A computer is no more an appliance than an automobile is.

Fundamental difference of opinion. I have had macs since the beginning and have never once felt hamstrung by the supposed infirmities you mention. To the contrary, it is the style, seamless integration of hardware and software and responsiveness of the manufacturer that has convinced me that I have gotten "my moneys worth", much like the cars I drive. Fact is, the whole thing is subjective. It's like trying to persuade amazingbimmer that BMW is not everybody's favorite car simply because it is expensive and goes fast. People look for different things. As for the Lambo/Ferrari question, that is precisely the subject of Agent 001's post discussing the Audi S5 and the Porsche 911. The diff there is that the supposed Apple tax is in the $100's -- not the $100,000's. That ain't going to break the bank. Someone who would buy the Ferrari over the far more expensive Lambo would not necessarily by generic beer instead of Becks. Now, about that $6,000. watch...
