5-Door 2009 Toyota Yaris

Toyota have added a new model to their Yaris line up for 2009. There will now be a five-door hatch back which will further enhance the offerings of the lineup.

The model is said to start at around $13,000, and it will be powered by a 1.5-litre 106-hp engine which is found in the other models. The engine will only be available with an automatic transmission.

Although these sell well with high gas prices its not even in the same drivability class as the FIT. Toyota has not done a good job over the last ten or so year in this segment.

high gas prices???

Last I checked fuel in my town is down to 2.30 a gallon. And I live in one of the more expensive places for gas.
