The front end is the trunk so it probably crumpled up fairly easily. But it didn't intrude into the cabin so I'd say thats still pretty good.

Uh, they don't actually check to make sure you're a safe driver. If you have the cash, you get the car...

Not to mention, it's just a mistake. We can't say for sure if he was a really bad driver or if nothing like this had ever happened to him before.

thats crazy but both the driver and passenger had minor injuries that means this car definitley protects its occupants

That Modena was beautiful.
When are people going to learn? Telephone poles do not get out of the way. Is that guy Karthikeyan's dad? He crashes like him.

The pics says a lot about the engineering that went into the car. A high level of attention wasn't only given to the engine, transmission, suspension, interior materials, etc.; but a great deal of time was spent on crumple-zones, structural rigidity, and impact dispersion. To know that both the driver and passenger walked away with minor injuries is incredible.

Dude, I'm with you on #1, but it doesn't matter if it was new or not -- it's a Ferrari. The death of any of these cars is lamentable. And he may have been driving it hard, but he sure as hell wasn't driving it well.
