Quit backing Infiniti because you drive a 350Z LOL. Pay the premium and see what Audi's interiors feel like, I guarantee it's much better than any Nissan or Infiniti. And don't tell me it ain't so.

I don't mind the new FX and the M interiors however I find the navigation screen & buttons too similar to Nissan. They should differentiate themselves from Nissan. I find that I could find an Infiniti-like look in the new Maxima and for thousands cheaper than the Infniti G. I'm very picky with my interiors.

ATTENTION S4!. You heard what happened to my S right?

You must be on crack because the new Maxima is more expensive than a G37. Why Nissan did this I have no idea.

I've been in them... they're nice to drive but still not up to par on the inside. My friend has an '08 G35X, which is exactly like all the other Infinitis on the inside.

F1,

A Maxima is not more expensive than a G37, not where I live. So no I am not on crack. :)

I stand behind my R8 all the way my friend. I'm not a badgewhore. I do like the GT-R but I put my order on an R8 before the GT-R even came out. I am happy with my purchase and although it's not as fast as a GT-R the interior is much better, please don't kid yourself. The GT-R is a great car but it wasn't meant to be built with the best materials in the world and the company's own marketer said their first and foremost an economy brand.

Performance GT-R > R8
Curb Appeal R8 > GT-R
Luxury R8 > GT-R
Exotic R8 > GT-R

Anyways I'm not going to bring another whole "GT-R vs the world" argument over to this thread. There are too many fanboys out there who back a car they'll never get to drive. I've had the opportunity to drive one and it's fun to drive. Conclusion: 911 Turbo, GT-R, R8 = great fun.

S4! : someone t-boned my S and it was totaled.

Last week I put down on a GTR but before I did I had to test drive the R8. From first impression it seems like a real drivers car and car is fabulous inside and out. I set my eyes on the GTR for awhile now and finally decide to get one and since my 997TT is still very new I had no reason to go out and get an R8 which is a hefty price. I do agree with a63 though, The R8 loses in the performance categories but excels in the rest. It all depends on what you want. I encourage anyone who is in the market to get a Porsche or Audi to take your time, it's always a tough decision. Anyone who is in a market for a GTR just don't go crazy with that launch control and you shouldn't have any worries.

"Car enthusiasts" appreciate all cars and not only Nissan, wake up. Car enthusiasts also care about the quality of product they purchase, don't tell me you bought your 350Z because of its performance only. I'm sure somewhere along the line you found the cheap plastics to be appealing to you so you use the excuse of "ONLY BADGEWHORES CARE ABOUT PRESTIGE, INTERIORS, MAGIC FEEL,.." blah blah blah.

F1_Driver: " I'd opt for a Bentley or Rolls Royce not some second tier "luxury" auto maker, aka Audi, pretending to be a Bentley or Rolls Royce. ".

Audi has never claimed or tried to pretend they were a Bentley or Rolls Royce, what are you smoking? Infiniti isn't even on the same tier as an Audi so remember what you're defending here. Quit generalizing to make yourself feel better. I've given Nissan credit for the GT-R and have never talked down the company, but you sit on your high horse thinking you're so much better than everybody. You call me a "poseur" and for what? because I drive more expensive cars than you? please. I have never shown a sign of arrogance and I never will so quit looking down on people because there are a lot of folks on this "car enthusiast" website that have better and more expensive cars than you do.

Ne-who in response to this seemingly never ending thread; Audi's a good car company I like what they have for consumers but I prefer others. The only car from Renault-Nissan I like is the GT-R; GREAT CAR!!!!. I also like Porsche's, Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Merc's, and various Bimmer's.

I certainly didn't buy the 350Z for the "cheap plastics".

"Audi has never claimed or tried to pretend they were a Bentley or Rolls Royce, what are you smoking?"

Then why did you bring up "Pay the premium and see what Audi's interiors feel like"? Audi interiors are nowhere near Bentley or Rolls Royce interiors so why make it sound like Audi is the benchmark in the industry for interiors?

"Infiniti isn't even on the same tier as an Audi so remember what you're defending here."

Sorry to burst your bubble but here is reality:

Tier 1 = BMW, MB, Lexus
Tier 2 = Infiniti, Audi
Tier 3 = Acura, Saab, Volvo

"you sit on your high horse thinking you're so much better than everybody."

Just better than Audi.

"You call me a "poseur" and for what? because I drive more expensive cars than you? please. I have never shown a sign of arrogance"

anyways, its hard for me to believe the buyers of the infiniti i30/35, m, and q45 when it was still around, to have looked at infiniti for performance and handling. since infiniti is suppose to be a luxury brand you would think people would expect more of luxury than performance and handling. special olympics??? you were just as much a part of the argument as any of us. looking at your past posts it seems like no one likes you on this site. go look for a nissan only forum or something where the trolls belong. i'm a nissan gt-r fan and i am on your side on most arguments for that but gt-r is nissan/infiniti's best car and that's all they have. besides the super performance they have nothing else. im also fans of european super car companies like porsche, lamborghini, ferrari, pagani, and now the new small company gumpert.

Ok Audi interiors may be nice(not the best) but they all look the same. Infiniti interiors are no less too and design vary from modle to model, FX interior is differnt from EX and so is G37 differnt from M45 and QX is totally different. I like infiniti-way more. Infiniti as general is also more performance oriented than Audi. FX compare to Q7, EX to Q5, G37 to A4, M45 to A6.

Ya I bet every Infiniti could beat its Audi competitor in performance.

2009 G37 Sport (Sedan) - 328 hp starting at $34,250
2009 A4 4dr Sdn Auto 3.2T quattro Prestige - 255 hp starting at $40,000

Not to mention that Infinitis come with ten times more than Audis do in their packages.
And Audi interiors aren't even that nice. And in my opinion the G37 looks a lot cooler than the A4.
The A4 is still a really good looking cool car but I just think the G37 is a better buy and better overall.

Yet our 2004 A4 had Engine replaced at 30K and tranny repaired at 40K. My sister was in/out of the dealership every other day with that car. I know that's just one sample of a car but it was enough for us to never buy Audi again.

Ignorance is bliss i guess.
But you should really think twice before posting something Audi related in a non-audi thread.
And i'll say this one last time:
No one should ever compare a FWD Audi to a RWD Infiniti in the performance department, point final.
