90 percent huh. I did notice how all of those semis that deliver all of those products across the united states are all driven by Union members and that if it werent for the union, much of our middle class would not have a chance at a reasonable living. No, it isnt our fault that the U.S. auto agencies are bleeding cash. thats just foolish. Its always the middle class that gets blamed for all of the U.S's problems, and I just refuse to buy that bullshit.

Unions also laid the infrastructure for the Telephone and communication lines across the United states. And the Electric lines for that matter. Hence, no union, no electricity or phone lines, no use for that computer.

Which material? the stuff that makes the computers? You'd have to elaborate. I probably couldn't tell you anyway, but I can tell you this: The reasons that you guys are suggesting that I am wrong about the importance of the union and why we supposedly don't need them, are in fact proving how important and significant they really are. The reason that the economy is in the shambles that its in is because of the global competition for these same services. GM manufactures much of the materials for these cars overseas because its much cheaper to outsource it to the cheap labor in china and Indonesia and such, as opposed to paying the labor unions in america. That is a huge folly that we will continue to pay for until the CEOs of these companies wake up, smell the ashes, and try to put out the fire that is cooking their companies. Profit and the bottom line are much more important to these companies than prosperity for the middle class. I can proudly say that I am a union member and that my work does benefit americans. I spend my money on american products when I can, and that is doing just fine by me. Obama is a hell of a candidate, and clearly will win this election. I will be there for you guys after your post capitalistic decline and you can thank us for the better situation America will be in 4- 6 years down the road. I promise I wont say I told you so, because you will probably already know that.
