STUD OR DUD? First Shots Of A Production 370Z Surface In Europe
If you look they will eventually be there, or so the say

I was just scouring the web made a series of random clicks and ran across the first shots of this production 370Z over at www.the370Z.com.

While the overall shape is unmistakable as a Z the headlights and the tails have been updated quite a bit in this newest design, as well as the rear fascia

So now the we actually have the real deal to take a look at  here is Nissan's newest Z car  a Stud or a Dud?

"Well, you should go to an optometrist."
Maybe you should learn the simple fact that the whole world does not have the same opinions as you.
He does not need to go to an optometrist. The car looks like a freaking EGG.
They ruined it. Those lights look good on the Maxima, which is a bigger car, but not on the 370Z.

I agree with Showtime. It's nice and all but I didn't really like the 350Z and now with the 370Z those lights just doesn't look too good imo. I like the design of the 300z much more

I'd say stud based on the pictures I've seen so far. I'm glad Nissan kept the Z small and powerful instead of turning it into a large GT (like they did in the 1990's).

Is it just me, or does that rounded rear bumper/rear window area and wide rear fender flares kind of look like the back of a Veyron?

They're making its wheelbase a bit shorter for this new one. I think its a green light.

I didn't like the 928 at all, but I am liking this car from the photos I've seen. As always, I'll wait to judge it until I see it in person.

i really dont like it...the tailights and headlights are disgusting...the 350 was and still is a beautiful car.. how can they look at those lights and think its good looking...seriously,the headlights are ugly but not terrible, the rear lights are just disgusting. why do the rear lights go into the back bumper? i had high hopes for the styling and i was let down.Im sure the performance will be up there, but the design is just nasty to me.

PORSCHE 928 definitely.......only with a modern edgy twist...... It's a new take on the Nissan brand... and with the success of the new Maxima, I think they might be onto something here. They are pushing the envelope and they are doing it well! STUD!

Very Studly.

Unlike some of the others here, I love the headlight/taillight treatment. It smaller stature makes it look even better and a bit sportier than the current model. The Datsun and Porsche comparisons are dead on and those wheels are just wicked. I can't wait to see what new tricks its picked up over the outgoing model.

I like it, except for the headlights and tail lights. And maybe the visually huge fuel filler door. Tough call. Is a woman still beautiful if she has "weird looking" eyes?

I think the length is where they shaved off some of the excess weight. This 370Z is something like 4" shorter than the 350Z. It's should pay off in the performance and that's a trade-off I'll take any day.

I like Nissan but their designs of late aren't the most tasteful IMO. I really like the new Maxima, Altima, & GT-R of course, but the rest of their line-up just doesn't do it for me.

The Sentra looks like a robot, the new Murano's grill is awful; same with the Rogue, & the Altima coupe's rear window ruins an otherwise nice design.

On the 370Z I don't like the taillights or headlights, the kink in the roof where it leaves the windshield & starts sloping back is way to prominent, & there's to much going on around the rear-quarter windows. Definitely preferred the out-going models more simplistic design strategy.

I know I'll get deboosted here, but It doesn't do it for me. The roof line is too flat in my opinion. The lights work out okay on the Maxima, but I'm not so sure here. Maybe they'll grow on me. Heck, maybe the whole car will grow on me. But for now, I'm not really that impressed. It's over-styled or something.
