Millen Sports Cars shows 2009 Nissan Maxima at SEMA

Nissan is celebrating its 50th year of selling cars and trucks in North America and its 10th year attending the SEMA Show with 12 customized Nissan cars from suppliers, tuners and Nissan’s own design and engineering team.

Of course the GT-R is the highlight of Nissan’s display at SEMA. NISMO, the premier supplier of high-performance aftermarket parts and accessories for Nissan will also be attending and will be display a variety of NISMO performance components, accessories and apparel.

Millen would have been better focusing on the RWD G37 sedan instead of the FWD Maxima. FWD will never be a platform that is truly in tune with a performance persona.

"FWD will never be a platform that is truly in tune with a performance persona"..... Hmm, Honda Type R, numerous Alfa and Fiat designs, F2 rally cars, BTCC touring cars...... I really don't think that you can make a blanket statement like that.

Styles, it all comes down to weight distribution. FWD has too much weight over the front axle.

Last time I checked, even the fwd Cobalt SS managed to beat out more than a few "performance" rwd and awd around the track. But hey, that's just numbers, right?

JMB, the Cobalt SS kicked ass on C&D's lightning lap. However, don't confuse numbers with driving dynamics. FWD cars suffer from heavy understeer and torque steer.
