2009 MINI E priced at $850 per month

With a full understanding that the Mini is, indeed, a premium small vehicle, I still find some US 850 dollars quite exorbitant... even given this new technology.

We'll see how quickly that amount drops after this initial/first-run experiment.

Not cheap, but if you drive a lot you could knock $300/month off your fuel bill.
