Swedish waitress tipped a Porsche

A waitress in Sweden thought her elderly customer was joking when he offered her his Porsche as a tip.

But he kept his word and gave her the keys to the car.

Aftonbladet newspaper reports that 19-year-old Josefin Justin was waiting tables at a cafe in central Sweden when the customer asked her age.

When Justin told him, he offered her his car.

The next day, she went to the man's house with her father and picked up the 1979 Porsche, worth over $A5000.

The man - who's asked to remain anonymous - has told the paper he can't explain why he gave her the car, other than he thought she should have it.
