2009 Honda Civic facelift unveiled

For all of you who got bored of the Honda Civic, it seems this is your lucky day! Honda unveiled today the facelifted 2009 Honda Civic but don’t get too emotional, this is only a minor facelift! As you can see the vehicle comes with a re-designed front grille and new rear headlights while at the interior it features a new texture for the plastic components.

What the F? Does anyone feel like this looks very similar to something Daewoo would have made. Kinda makes me think of the latest edition of the Kia Rio hatchback.

The picture of that blue one looks like shat - but if you click the link and look at the black Type R its definetly an improvement.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this is the new Civic. This body style has been sold in Europe and other parts of the world for the last three or four years.

I was thinking that it looks like the European Type R, not the US version. The blue car in the pic is a hatch, we don't have that here.

It's the Euro Civic mild refresh - you can tell because the front has air-inlet 'nostrils' rather than the original one piece full length headlight/grille...

Alas, you are right. I saw a variant of this in Lima earlier this year. Looks better than any Acura IMO though
