LA AUTO SHOW: It's Official. Lexus To Unveil 2010 RX And 09' LS AWD At The LA Auto Show

Lexus will stage the world premiere of the all-new 2010 RX 450h hybrid and RX 350 luxury utility vehicles at a press conference at the upcoming 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 19.

The next generation RX models will raise the bar above the current
best-selling products by offering outstanding luxury, comfort, technology,
safety and efficiency.

Recently revealed at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, the 2010 IS convertible
will make its North American debut at the show. The IS 250C and IS 350C
convertibles feature a lightweight aluminum three-panel roof that opens in
just seconds. They feature the same powertrains as the IS sedans: the IS
250C receives a 2.5-liter, 204-hp V6 mated to a six-speed manual or
six-speed automatic transmission; and the IS 350C contains a 3.5-liter,
306-hp V6 with a six-speed automatic.

Also making their first appearance are the 2009 Lexus LS 460 and LS 460
L all-wheel drive (AWD) luxury sedans. Available in both standard and long
wheelbase, they utilize a highly compact center TORSEN(R) Limited-Slip
Differential (LSD) that optimally distributes drive torque between the
front and rear wheels, thus helping to ensure excellent traction
performance and driving stability.

Haha dont get me wrong guys. Audi's are really good looking. But they never used to be. BMW....Not the pretiest things, the new 3 and 7 look nice though. Mercs *new* design language is nice. The last gen of those vehicles i mentioned are ugly.

I prefer German over Japanese. Enough said.

"Audi's are really good looking. But they never used to be."

Maybe in the '80s, but Audi has been making gorgeous cars since the B5 A4 came out in 1995.

"Germans? What? Have you seen what Audi has been comming up with?!"

Ironically, I think the ugliest car Audi has designed in the last few years is the one that competes with this car--Q7. Although the Q5 also competes with it, and is far better-looking.

The current RX is about as bland and ugly as you can get. When people say it is classy and elegant (usually Lexus fanboys), then I seriously wonder what they see in that rebadged Toyota Harrier.

This new RX, well, it ain't pretty either. It looks too much like the current one, inside and out. Like an extreme facelift. No doubt it will sell well with rich soccermoms and wealthy college kids (predominantly white females with zero brains).
