Lexus strives to be similar to BMW. They alway seem to lack something!

Looks like a waste of lot space.

Only 306 hp in the coupe version of this already redundant car? The back seat is so small in the IS sedan that this car is truly pointless! There was no effort done in differentiating this car from the sedan other than the lack of roof and 2 additional doors.

Lexus is REALLY boring me recently. Meh, that is expected.

how can you say that its no different when ONLY the headlamps and door handles were brought over?

also note: rear seat leg room has been improved to now be better than the 3 series coupe. i know i read that somewhere

Actually for some reason the body resembles the Toyota Solara. I wouldn't call that new.

Go back to Hyundai if Lexus is boring you.... Most people actually like the IS. Why fix something that isn't broken?

This car is alot diffrent then it's sedan version. I wouldn't call it a Solara. But, I will say the Solara was suppose to come out as a Lexus, not a Toyota originally.

Re-badging?

Like I said in the IS250C thread, the look of the IS has grown old very quickly. Don't know how and why but it just has. Typical boring looks from ToyoLexus has plagued this model range that should be exciting.

3er Convertible > IS-C (If you can afford one)
G37 C > IS-C

So I'm deboosted because people would rather Lexus not take the effort to make the car into something more passionate?

The Lexus IS sedan looks great, but this just looks like it had 2 doors removed. To me, that is CHEAP!

AND NO I DON'T DRIVE A HYUNDAI!

Please pay attention to what is written, not the name!

If my middle name were Hussein, would you think I was an Iraqi dictator or a "secret" Muslim?

I don't want to diss Lexus but there is nothing exciting about this coupe in my eyes. At least with the BMW 3 series coupe or Audi A4 coupe (even the CLK) you have some sort of excitement thing going on (by looking at it). Not with the IS C. Maybe if I see it in real life I will change my mind, though.

The IS-C can't be more exciting than the CLK. It's in a totally different price range. The CLK 63 AMG can't be touched by Lexus.

the clk is pretty ugly too

Ugly if you saw it wrecked by an 18-wheeler. Otherwise, you have shit taste in cars! That's not opinion - It's fact!

The CLK is like the opposite of ugly. It may be old, but it's still one of the prettiest cars on sale.

G37C with 6speed manual or 7speed automatic and 330hp.
IS350C looses before it is released based on numbers alone

how does it "looses"........? Don't you mean "loses"?
Not as exciting as the 3 Series Coupe, but what do you expect?

actually, just because the g37 has 25 more horsepower doesnt necessarily mean that the lexus is slower. ive beat 2 g37s from a dead stop in my is350. ive seen quarter mile times around 13.7-13.8 for the the g37 and 13.4-13.8 for the 350. with time, the g37 will have better runs, but not any FASTER than the 350. (both cars bone stock , of course)

I wonder what will happen to the SC430, I really want to see a new model of that based on the LF-A.

It must In your dreams you beat a G37, the G35 was,a BMW Challenger and Lexus could not come close, so how the hell you could beat a G37 which is faster than the G35,get really, the G37 has a 0-60 mph in 4.3-4.5 secs, and the lexus has not have that, probablly the drivers you were racing with was just toying you.And futher more Everyone who race them except you, have this conclusion.

Should correct those time its actually 5.3-5.8 depending on the conditions. And the BMW 335I is 4.8.The Lexus IS350 is closer to six secs.

But question again to my friend how could you see quater mile time for the G37 if you were drive or racing? come clean you just want the Lexus to win.
