Mercedes-Benz SL Shooting Star Commercial

The new revised 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL, which first was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, is such a special sports car.

Whether its in pulse pumping AMG form or the standard V6, the new SL is sexy design will turn heads for years to come and keep enthusiasts happy with its performance. We had a chance to drive the new SL63 AMG at a Mercedes driving event and it is nothing short of brilliant. Although there was not much of a chance to open up the car on open roads, the SL63 AMG is has an immense amount of power for the driver to enjoy.

Get a world perspective rather than one from your living room.
There are 2 V6s on offer in the SL, the 280 and the 350.

They have the 350 here in Australia. Thankfully they didnt bring the 280 here. Otherwise the roads will be flocked with them. Hopefuly they dont bring the 280 for the CLS line up. I guess they would have too for most of their other cars.

We don't even get the 280 in Britain, it's a continental Europe only engine, I think. I don't really think the SL should have it though, it doesn't suit the sort of car it is today.
