Coming in with a total of 526 votes from a panel of 65 jurors, the mini Toyota iQ claimed the title of Japan Car of the Year for 2008. 39 of the 65 jurors gave the iQ a perfect score of 10.

A wannabee is still a wannabee. That car does not look better than the SMART. Then again styling is subjective. IMO the front end is hideous. Toyota aren't known for good designs anyways. Bland to say the least.

It's actually smaller than an xD, so it would be a competitor to the smart car.

I'm laughing so hard now, all those collectors bought GT-Rs and it didn't win car of the year, LMAO. Guess they should put some Smarts or Nissan Cubes in there next to their Ferrari collection too, LMAO

not just trannys, but the WHOLE of toyota vehicles are reliable. to the point where even a yaris or corolla is more reliable than ANY mb, audi, bmw, and esp. vw.

(and any nissan too, altho by not as large a margin. not that any buyer of a GT-R would care.)

the iQ prob'ly got chosen because it was THE car to have when gas was close to $5/gallon.
which it will be AGAIN. someday.
