Would much rather wait for the new 500+bhp Jaguar XF-R, should be available in a matter of weeks/months. Jags XF-R will fix everything Audi have got wrong with the RS6.

So what exactly is wrong with the RS6? Mind explaining?

Another great Audi car not available in the USA. No TDI's yet, No S4 Avant for 2009 no RS4 Avant 2007-2009, no S3 ever, no RS Avant previous model.

JC actually preffered the old RS6 over the E55 AMG and E39 M5.

Saw this one in a showroom today. Loved the interior, but overpowered in my opinion. The price was about 110.000 €.

Who cares what hp is generated in a shitty Sebring rent-a-car (since that was what he was testing as shits and giggles while he was in the US)?

I think I would actually rather have an S6 than an RS6. The S6 is supposed to have fantastic handling, while the RS6 has gotten the same reviews as the old model--super fast, but not that much fun.

The ride in the S6 is Supple but the Handling is just as Nose Heavy as the Regular A6

The Ride in the RS6 is supposed to be Hard but the Handling will be much better than the S6's

This is what EGM Cartech says about the S6's handling:

"When the road gets a little crooked, the S6 is still surprisingly entertaining, and not just in an oh-my-gosh-this-car-is-huge-I-hope-I-don’t-clip-that-oak-tree kind of way. The tight suspension keeps the 4,486-pound car planted and prevents excessive body roll. The steering is a little numb, but the car does feel unexpectedly light on its feet. Despite the firm suspension required to make a car of this size feel sporty, ride comfort is excellent, even after several hours of driving. The car feels composed, and although roadway imperfections are noticeable, they aren’t intrusive."

'Not to put too fine a point on it, but this isn't an ideal prescription for agility. Yet that's precisely what the S6 delivered. Some logbook comments: "I'm astounded at what a cool operator the S6 is on the track." "Really fun and confidence-inspiring in the twisties. I'm not sure if I'd have more fun in a 911 on some of these stretches."'

"We expected the S6 to be notably slower and less involving, with more androgynous handling qualities and less feedback overall. But we were wrong. Despite the near total absence of drama, its set of reflexes is complete. Quattro is a bonus not only in winter or when it rains: it also ties the car down well through dips and brows, makes carving the twisties much more relaxed, and always--always--puts the power down. Instead of bothering you with weight distribution or traction-control issues, the S6 simply goes where you point it."

who cares if the avants come to america. does anybody really want a 500+hp station wagon give me a break. station wagons are ugly they are good for a purpose not for looks or performance. audi makes great cars but seriously rs4 avant rs6 avant totally useles. again station wagons for a purpose you need the room so when that is loaded with stuff where is your performance because of the added weight. by a cheap station wagon or mini van and get an rs 4 or 6 why pay 100k for a 500 hp station wagon

With Audi, I feel the Avant is always more attractive than the sedan counterpart.

I agree with Shredmo. The A6 Avant is much sexier than the sedan. Great light clusters, and shape overall. The whole reason a wagon is better than a van, SUV etc is that you can have your cake and eat it too. It's almost as fun as its sedan counterpart but has the space of an SUV.
