Procharger adding 150 hp to the Dodge Challenger

Procharger adding 150 hp to the Dodge Challenger
The 2008 SEMA Show has ended, but the aftermarket accessories keep coming in, and ProCharger’s newest addition, a quartet of forced-induction systems and kits - pledges to generate 150 hp (112 kW) or more from the 6.1-liter HEMI V8, such as the one found in the 2008 or 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8.

Two versions of the ProCharger HO Intercooled system and two variants of the Stage II supercharger kit form the entire lineup, one of each is a ’system’, and one of each is a ‘kit’. The systems are totally complete, ready to be fitted onto the vehicle. The kits will take some additional work; buyers will have to provide their own fuel system improvement and ECU tuning.

Yawn still cant get 100hp per liter even with forced induction. Still weighs almost as much as a 1st generation dodge durango.

What makes u think thats all it can do. The fact is the 6.1 has gobs of potential. Hemi Head just like 80% of high horsepower cars have. Skirted block crossbolted mains piston oilers in fact if you want to know the full potential of a chrysler hemi [in 1964] look at top fuel NHRA drag racing today [8000 horsepower]. lets see thats 1000 horsepower per cylinder with 8 liters Thats 1000 hp per liter what do you have that will do that?

What a waste of power when its only used for 1/4 a mile. Those things should be doing top speed runs.

Loads of power, just too bad that it weighs so much! The Caddt cts will still blow this away on the track! Regardless of the extra power, check out top gear with the Corvette, CTS, and the Dodge. The Dodge was so far behind it was sad.

Truck man you dont get it either. your caddy cant stay together long enough to even catch the challenger and the vette would go faster if you chained to the bumper of the dodge
