New Nissan 370Z in Detailed Video

Our obsessions for the new Z is incurable. Today a new video of the Z car has hit the web over at Streetfire.net. showing the new Nissan 370Z in a hot red color and an electric blue color. The setting for the event was in California at an invite only event.

The new in color could be blue judging by how magnificent the new 370Z looks in blue. The lines of the car just go so well with this blue color. One nice new touch is the Z emblem that blinks on the profile of the car- wonder how tuners will mod this? Still waiting to hear the exhaust note on this new bad boy Z.

I'm not asking Nissan to offer a T-Top like in my old 300ZX but couldn't they at least offer us a Targa top?

It looks nice but according to leaked specs it's still a porker, e.g. 3200+ lbs.

but with that likely comes a VERY rigid body. Besides, there are much heavier cars that still perform very well.

A C6 Corvette weighs about 3200 lbs but that car has 430 hp.

A C6 Corvette probably cost more then the new Z.I would say the base Z should start at about 32 Grand. A Vette starts at what 45 to 50 grand. That's a big difference in price.At 3250 LBS it's a little heavier then I was hoping for. Still at 332HP that's a definate improvement over 3450 and 300HP of the previous Z. Youve have got to figure a 0-60 time improvement of at least 1/2 a second or more. The current Z is about 5.7 to 5.8 seconds so the new Z should still be close to Cayman S performance.
